The Pax Romana started when Augustus came into superpower, and terminate when Marcus Aurelius died. The belief of the Pax Romana was started when Augustus ended the idea of a obliging war. He tried to teach the Romans that if they were not at war, in that location could be growth and prosperity all throughout Rome. After Cae sars death, Octavian had a dispute with Cleopatra and Marc Antony, who also cherished the power. This dispute became known as the Battle of Actium. The Battle of Actium was a battle between Octavians army and Cleopatra and Marc Antonys army. Cleopatra was the hassock of Egypt and Julius Caesars mistress. Marc Antony was Julius Caesars lieutenant. They both wanted the power and thought if they linked forces, they could take over down Octavian. During the battle, Cleopatra thought that Marc Antony had died so she went dressing home. Once Marc Antony maxim her leaving, he chased her, leaving his naval forces alone. His navy was disappointed once he left wing, leaving Octavian and what was left of his Navy to make do kill Cleopatra and Marc Antony. They both, however, committed felo-de-se before he could trance there. After Octavian won the war, he became the Emperor of Rome. Once Octavian came to power, the Pax Romana began.
